Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013)

Although it kind of remind me of the popular English movie called "I Am Sam", this movie has a different spice and twist that had made me laugh and even cry. Unconditional love, purity and kindness abounds in this movie, pureness that only a child could possibly possess.

It somehow gives me an added hope that goodness could prevail, despite of people's harshness and cruelness in this world. That even how evil we think a person is, showing him sincere kindness could turn him a new leaf. Hence, even death could not erase the goodness that has been imparted.

In the end, no matter how our life ended and no matter how other people saw us, those people whose hearts we have touched could stand as living witnesses of who we truly were. I guess, that makes this movie a happy ending after all.

Plus, I can't seem to overcome the cuteness and talent of the young Ye-sung (Kal So-Won). I feel the need to outburst my overflowing admiration for her (I so love children and babies!). With her so little experience in life at the time to internalize her role (she was 6 years old by then), she was able to portray it so naturally (she often made me cry). She had brought so much laughter and tears in the movie as a whole. Well, of course, all of the other actors and crews have done a very great job! Kudos to all of them!

There's so much goodness in this movie but I cannot write them all. It feels good that some of those in the movie industry still work hard for films that are set to inspire, like this one.

How about you? What good things has this movie left you?
